In-person appointments are available with limited covid restrictions. The practice will still offer the option for clients to be seen through Telepsychology if they wish to do so.
We encourage all patients who are sick, or experiencing symptoms such as fever, trouble breathing, or coughing, to call to reschedule any in-person appointments at (902) 826-1704. If you have symptoms, but you'd like to keep your scheduled appointment, a Telepsychology appointment is an option for you.
The software used for online therapy appointments is the secure Zoom for Healthcare version of the popular platform called Zoom. Please note that Zoom for Healthcare complies with Canadian Data Protection regulations, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, locally, the Personal Health Information Act (PHIA).

Before your appointment, you will need to download and test Zoom. Zoom is available to be installed on a computer, tablet, iphone or android device. You do not need a Zoom account to join the session, and it is both PC and Mac compatible. As long as your device has a front-facing camera and microphone, you can use it.

To ensure that you are prepared and comfortable for your Telepsychology session, please visit the Preparation for Your Telepsychology Appointment page as soon as you have a scheduled appointment. Before your appointment, you will be sent a Zoom link that you will use to enter your session.
