Therapy & Areas of Practice
I currently work with adults, teens, children, couples and families. In collaboration with clients I individualize their treatment for their presenting life challenges with the goal of improving their functioning and life satisfaction. I have an extensive background in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and for the past several years have been expanding and integrating mindfulness and acceptance into my clinical practice, which I do in a developmentally and culturally sensitive manner. With fun and engaging therapeutic techniques I teach clients how to be in the present moment and how to have their difficult emotions have less of an impact on them. I also collaborate with other professionals, schools, and community agencies to provide comprehensive treatment plans. Areas of practice include:
